Tungsten, alongside Ebony & Ivory, had the privilege of assisting in the branding of the JSE. The JSE revealed the brand identity transformation on 14 April 2014. The new look further demonstrated that the JSE is a leading African exchange.
In association with Elfin Events, Tungsten was commissioned to do the branding for the Salesforce Essentials Johannesburg Event on 19 March 2014 which was hosted at The Forum on The Campus. Tungsten was responsible for designing, manufacturing and branding at the event.
designsa.com/Tungsten sponsored, planned, designed and managed the entire event for the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang at Melrose Arch with 64 cars, including the iconic Eleanor, with around 7500 visitors on 13 April 2014, as part of the worldwide 50th anniversary held in 63 countries.
Tungsten assisted Blue Ice Productions in creating an unforgettable Nokia Showcase event on the 11th of February 2014. Launching new products such as the new Nokia Asha range, Tungsten was able to put together interesting and innovative ways of displaying the Nokia products, while playing on the vibrancy of the brand.
The Johannesburg International Motor show houses all of the major motor vehicle giants and innovative design solutions for future vehicles. MAN Truck & Bus was in full force at the JIMS 2013 opening day showcasing all new trucks and busses. Tungsten alongside Beyond Red assisted MAN in producing an amazing exhibition with a 360° branding experience and magnificent entertainment.
On 16 October 2013, World food day, an edible billboard was revealed by KOO South Africa in Dobsonville Soweto, ...which was comprised of 2106 different KOO cans which created the KOO logo. As each can was removed a new message emerged which stated “Helping feed a nation.” Tungsten helped in this outstanding initiative, transforming a billboard into a message that can change lives.
BMW recently commissioned Tungsten to effect the 2013 Aftersales awards evening at the Hyatt. With over 28 awards presented to technical and Aftersales winners, and the Afro Tenors providing the entertainment alongside keynote speakers on the state of the economy; a stunning award evening was had.
MINI- the British icon of the 1960’s. Tungsten has been commissioned once again to showcase ingenuity, creativity and innovation by designing yet another prestigious MINI dealership, SMG Rocks in Durban. Using LED lighting and creative branding throughout the dealership, creating a fun and hip environment for one of the most influential automobiles of the 21st century
Tungsten partnered Nike in producing the most memorable alternative advertising to date.
The Carlton Centre Mall atrium held the extra -ordinary Nike Ball man, which spanned 21 metres high, comprising of 5500 skills balls and weighed 4.75 tons. The 10 kilometres of cable that held the structure together is equivalent to the magnificence of this exhibition. This installation was a world first for Nike and for Tungsten , which was complimented by the four enlarged Nike silo boots from Nike's Elite Series. The exhibition included a display of the Nike team kit of every Nike sponsored team in the FIFA World Cup 2010.
