As part of the 35th anniversary celebration, the classic Nike Air Force 1 is rendered in another eye-catching silhouettes – the Country Camo collection, featuring the king of camo, Mkay Frash. The swoosh is following up on its previous AF1 capsule from 2016 with another group of the same model in five variations, offering up different camouflage designs ranging from a tri-colour camo to a more traditional forest iteration.
Tungsten was commissioned by Nike to produce and dress up Shesha store windows around the country, using high quality fabrics and clinker as part of the shoe display.

Tungsten was briefed to revamp the Sandton Store to a new Basketball theme concept. Celebrating the culture and the potential growth of Basketball in South Africa, the arrival of the new Nike’s NBA gear was launched. A minimalist basketball theme style was achieved by using illuminated hoops to display shoes, a monochrome player’s wallpaper, a court-like floor and an Engage Y-Frame as a center piece.

Tungsten alongside Turnkey Logistics travelled to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban this past weekend for the MTN8 Final to build the stage and tunnels. The stage was made of high density polystyrene puzzle-like blocks forming the MTN figure 8 that needed to be carried onto the field and set up under 5 minutes.
In addition, a 120m2 stage for before the match and half time performances for 8 amazing artists including Babes Wodumo.

Tungsten was commissioned by Turnkey Logistics to stage set, design and fabricate a fully branded modular tunnel with a hall of fame effect to display the last 10 season winners. This included high tech LED walls, iconic trophy display and quality graphics for a stadium look and feel.

Hosting 1024 e-football players during the 2 day event at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from 22-23 July, a total prize pool of R1.5 million was awarded to the top 17 players each receiving prize money.
Tungsten was commissioned by Witch & Wizard Productions to produce, fabricate and install an arcade area covering over 300m2 of floor space. This to accommodate 30 gaming stations, incorporating pinball machines, dancing revolution stages, Nintendo consoles, and racing simulators. By providing high quality graphics on fabric and floor to showcase a better gaming experience.
Nike Cortez, as a co-sponsor of Castle Lite “Unlocks Event” @ The Ticketpro Dome, was awesomely displayed, detailing the beauty of the Cortez sneaker. Cortez, named the first official track shoe, has been redesigned numerous times over the past 20 years evolving into a lifestyle shoe, was the go-to sneaker for the streets of Los Angeles, South Central city of Compton during the ‘80s and ‘90s especially in the Latin American and hip-hop community.
To display this iconic, lightweight sneaker jewel, Tungsten was commissioned by our partners Witch & Wizard for Nike to design an illuminated display, showcasing hanging Cortez versions, a 14m lightbox bearing the #Cortez.SinceDayOne slogan and a genuine 1962 classic Chevrolet Impala. Close to 19000 people experienced this display.
